Homes maybe purchased inside and outside of city limits. Homes within city
limits are governed by the laws of the city and are normally serviced (Police,
Fire etc.) by the city. Homes outside of the city are said to be in
unincorporated county areas. These areas are normally serviced by the county.
The chief advantage to living outside of the city limits is that real estate
taxes are normally lower.
